This is a beautiful poem Chris, I feel the essence of Lorca and Cohen within it, truely masterful. Like you, I turned to poetry long after I began my love affair with the guitar. Though I've had no formal teaching in either disciplines, and consider myself an amateur at best, I constantly strive to merge the two to conjure a few moments of magic.
